Our 2018 AGM will be held at The Ariel Centre, Totnes, TQ9 5JX on Saturday 20 October at 11.30am. The venue is accessible by public transport, both rail and road, with easy access from the A38 and free parking on site.
Coffee and tea will be available between 10.30am and 11.30am and through lunchtime. There are no other catering facilities availabe to us and so it is suggested you bring along a packed lunch.
Our speaker for the afternoon is Surjeet Husain who teaches and lectures on Indian textiles in London. The talk is called “Colour Sensation” a journey into Indian textiles. It promises to be a colourful and interesting afternoon with lots of textiles to inspire us.
This year we ask that members bring along any projects undertaken by their group - it is always interesting to see other groups' projects. We would also like to display work completed following day schools - please label with name, tutor’s name and title of day school.
Do come and join us - it is a great opportunity to meet up with other members and hear what is happening in other groups as well as see some of the work and there will be some traders to tempt you with 'necessities' for the next project!
Look forward to seeing you there!
